Matthew 17:20

When I saw this stamp from the Unity Stamp Co, I had to have it! This verse has always been one of my favorites and the way they have put the different fonts together and the suggestion of the mountain in the background is just gorgeous. This card is for the Don't Quote Me challenge over at Caardvarks. The challenge is to use a quote or verse on the card. I am also loving this paper by Basic Grey so I decided to pair the 2 up! Love the result!

Teacher Appreciation Week Card

Just thought I'd show what I made for Isaac's teacher this year for Teacher Appreciation Week. I wanted something relatively quick and simple and so I emailed my friend Sta'Cee (who doesn't have a blog, but should!) to pick her brain! She said one of her favorite easy teacher gifts is a little container of raspberries with a bow tied around it. Immediately this stamp I have from Papertrey Ink popped into my head! So, instead of raspberries, the teachers got a nice container of strawberries with a big yellow bow tied around it. (I forgot to take pictures of it though!) Isaac picked out the yellow because pencils are yellow and teachers love pencils. Oh, the mind of a 5 year old! This is the card I made! Love the Jenni Bowlin chipboard buttons! I stamped right on it and it looked great!

My NSD Goal

There was no scrapbooking going on here on National Scrapbooking Day. I had done a lot the weekend before at the CocoaDaisy online crop and had neglected everything else. My goal for the weekend was to get my scrapbook desk and area cleaned and organized. Pictures were to go here! But it is not done! I probably need another 2 or 3 naptimes to get it to where I want it! But...I have some layouts to do for the memory book at Isaac's preschool! They are due on Friday so I guess the pictures of my desk will wait! (as will the actual cleaning!) Here are a few cards I did in the meantime! Both of these were for Daily Prompts at CocoaDaisy...have I mentioned how much I love those prompts?
