Some Layouts

I did this layout for a contest over at CocoaDaisy. They gave the directions (here) with no pictures and you had to make the layout! Harder than I thought but fun!
This layout was for the Sketchbook Olympics. This was the first week's layout...Cycling. We had to use circles and dot paper. This is one of my favorites that I have done lately! I love the colors! This week was rhythmic gymnastics and we had to use ribbon and swirls. I can't post it until they do though!

Thank you those of you who voted for me in the Craft Warehouse contest! The results are read on September 6th at each store. I won't be able to make it though...I will be scrapping with Ali Edwards! Pretty excited about it too! It is a CocoaDaisy event in Eugene! Also looking forward to meeting Tricia, Emily and Jill!

Want to Vote for Me?

I am currently in a contest at Craft Warehouse...a craft chain in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. The first half of the contest is voted on by the public and then the top 50% from each stores are voted on by judges! Below is the layout I submitted. If you like it please come vote! Follow the link, scroll down below the layouts, register, and then vote! Thanks in advance for taking the time. I really appreciate it!

Just as an explanation of the lo...This is Isaac and Rachel. Rachel has run xc for my husband for the last 4 years. Isaac took a shine to her from the start...when he was just 2! She asked her friend to take this picture of them while we were at Camp Sherman. I quickly grabbed my camera and snapped this! I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it so I asked Isaac for one word to describe Rachel...I was thinking goofy/silly/crazy! He thought for a minute and said "She loves me!" I knew I had my title!

Classes at church & another 2S4Y card!

Last Friday we did a whole day of scrapbooking at my church. My friend asked me to teach a couple classes. We did a card organizer with a set of 3 cards in the morning and a mini album with the theme "A week in the life..." in the evening. There were a lot of first time scrappers there so I am glad I kept it simple! Here they are!

Isaac loves to draw! A couple weeks before the class, I started having him use a different medium to do a picture each night. I then scanned them, added text to explain his picture (they are great but some of them we'll never know what they are later!), and then sent them to be printed as 4x6 prints.Oops...I have put off the journaling as usual! =)
I am almost done with the one for Erin! I did a week of zzzzzzzzz's for her!

Here's my latest card for the 2Sketches4You blog! I knew I wanted to make a card for Isaac...he turns 5 tomorrow! When I saw this week's sketch I wasn't sure about using it because I thought it was a little girly with the scallops but it was a good challenge for me to make it boyish! I like how it turned out! Here's their sketch and then my take on it!

Another 2S4Y card

As the summer comes to a close, things are just getting busier! Tadd has started XC and now things get crazy for him! Yesterday was the crop at my church where I taught 2 classes. I'll post those pictures tonight. For now, here is a card I managed to get done at the crop!

Back from Camp Sherman!

Well, we're back from a wonderful week of camping with 29 teenagers! We had a great time and the kids were great as always! I am getting ready now for the 2 classes I am teaching at church this Friday! A card organizer with 3 cards (2 down, 1 to go!) and a mini album. Haven't even started the album yet! But, I have everything in baggies for everyone...that took a long time! I will post pictures of Camp Sherman later today! And of the class stuff as it gets done!
